Seshadri Iyer Memorial Hall is located at Cubban Park which is in the central administrative area,Bangalore Karnataka.Seshadri Iyer Memorial Hall is memory of K.Sheshadri Iyer who was Mysore state's Dewan for 18 long years from 1883. It was built by Lord Curzon who was the British viceroy in honor of sincerity and efficiency, Sri Sheshadri Iyer showed in his service as Dewan. The building carved out in red with a beautiful rose garden in the frontage is envied for its artistic and lustful natural beauty.The building with the statue in front forms a focal point of a long avenue coming from Hudson Circle.European architecture attracts the tourists towards the museum. There is a library inside the museum which provides literary classic books. It is made with red bricks with a statue of Sir K. Seshadri Iyer.The statue of Seshadri Iyer in a small rose garden, in front of the Hall was put up in 1913. The library spreads over an area of 300 meter square and this is under the control of the State Library Authority. The library received Raja Rammohan Roy Library Foundation Award for the best state central library in India in the year 2000 A.D. It houses 2.65 lakh books and also has a Braille section for the visually impaired people.

The legendary building occupies about 300 sq. km. The fact that enhances the beauty of the place is that the building is highlighted in red which stands amidst plush greenery. This stands among many facts which attract aesthetic voyagers to the place.

Seshadri Iyer Memorial Library hall was built in memory of the Dewan of Mysore State, K. Seshadri Iyer. Shesadri Iyer Memorial Hall, strategically sited in Cubbon Park in Bangalore was built as a tribute to Sir K.Seshadri Iyer, the Dewan of Mysore State from 1883 to 1901. One of Bangalore's most coveted tourist spots of historical eminence, Sheshadri Memorial Hall is a replete with a picturesque and colorful garden. Lord Nathaniel Curzon has a significant contribution to the existence of Shri Seshadri Iyer Memorial Hall. The erstwhile Viceroy of India is credited as the mastermind behind Kolkata's treasure, the imperial Victoria Memorial and Bangalore's magnum opus, the Shri Seshadri Iyer Memorial Hall. Lord Curzon impressed with Shri Seshadri Iyer's dedication and service to the British Raj wrote to the then British Resident, Sir Donald Robertson. It was then agreed upon to honor the erstwhile diwans's relentless services by building a posthumous Memorial Hall in his name.
