Karnataka Chitrakala Parishath is located at Art Complex,Kumara Krupa Road,Bangalore Karnataka.The Karnataka Chitrakala Parishath  was Established in 1960 andstarted in 1964.This space has an interesting and exclusive assortment of Karnataka's traditional paintings,leather puppets and artefacts and lures visitors all the year round.The Parishat's galleries like Roerich and kejriwal have enticed renowned artists both from India and the world to exhibit their works here.A few Indian handicraft organizations have also displayed their products in the Parishat galleries.Besides a graphic studio,the Chitrakala Parishat also houses a sculpture studio and an open-air theatre.Chitrakala Parishat Collections, a permanent exihibition of the paintings collected over the years, draws many art lovers.

The year 1964 witnwssed the birth of the art school named Chitrakala Vidyalaya. The works of the students of the school are exhibited in the Chitrakala Parisant.
