The premium of this scheme will not be deducted from the pockets of such beneficiary farmers. In addition, the government gives Rs 6,000 annually, from which it will be deducted. For this the farmer has to choose the option.


The scheme was launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi from Jharkhand. The scheme was launched on 12 September 2019. Registration for the event began on August 9. The name of the scheme is Pradhan Mantri Kisan Maan Dhan Yojana. This is the largest pension scheme dedicated to farmers. Those involved will get a pension of Rs 3,000 per month on completion of 60 years of age.
