NOTE: The official list of approved vendors is always made available on the official website of GEDA. Always make sure that these vendors only can provide the government subsidy
Fill in the form, provide other documents along with signatures
Returns the duly filled form to the vendor
Make sure your make payment only for the subsidized amount and not full amount
For maintenance of the solar installation the vendor and beneficiaries need to make an agreement of the Rs. 50 stamp paper
Which Document Required For Gujarat Solar Rooftop Yojana 2021?
Solar system commissioning report singed by vendor, beneficiary and DISCOM officer
Bill / certificate of payment from vendor for the rooftop solar system setup
Setup more than 10KW: certificate for charging permission by CEI
Setup less than 10KW: certificate of electrical supervisor or contractor
Joint installation report which provides about the installation signed by beneficiary and empaneled vendor
Who can apply for Solar Rooftop Subsidy?
Scheme is applicable to residential houses and apartments in Gujarat state only
Applicant must have the residential property on his own name
Minimum of 100 square / foot shadow free area is required, it will be used for generation of 1KW of solar energy

Gujarat Solar Rooftop Yojana 2021:
The target for installations of solar rooftops shall be to cater to 2 lac consumers during the year 2019-20 and cumulatively 8 lac consumers by the end of the financial year 2021-22.
Gujarat Solar Rooftop Yojana 2021:
The system cost mentioned in above table is inclusive of supply, installation, commissioning, comprehensive maintenance contract of 5 years of the complete solar system, bi-directional meter and its testing charges, SMC box for the meter and the connectivity charges to be paid to the DISCOM and standard structure required to install solar PV panel on the rooftop, with minimum surface clearance of 300 mm between the terrace surface and the bottommost edge of the panel. The cost of additional height of the structure required, if any, shall be borne by the beneficiary.

If the Applicant is a single phase consumer of the DISCOM and intends to install a solar roof top system having capacity which necessitates to change the phase of his existing service connection from single phase to three phase, in such case the requisite charges for enhancement of the phase from single to three phase shall be borne by the consumer being part of the system strengthening, and not included in the discovered cost per kw
