Important news for those with a learning license, a big government decision
The operation of license-related services is being simplified by the state government under SAR 2.0. As part of which, the government has taken another decision and made a special simplification of the process of obtaining re-learner's driving license and endorsement for carrying dangerous goods in the driving license, the list of the Commissioner of Vehicle Transactions said.
The list further states that for one reason or another the six-month period of apprentice license has expired and the applicant had to come to the RTO office to get the apprentice license but from now on the applicant can get the apprentice license only by paying the fee on parivahan.gov.in. The applicant can download the license sitting at home from his / her class and get a print.
Similarly, when a driving license holder has one class of license and wants to add another class (AEDL-Additional Endorsement to Driving License) the applicant for this operation had to come face to face to get the novice license at the RTO office but now as part of the new arrangement the applicant This class will be able to add the class itself by paying the fee, which will be verified and approved at the RTO level. After approval, the applicant will have to appear for the driving test on the due date.
In addition, the operation of endorsement to drive hazardous material has been made faceless in the driving license. No manual stamping will be required for this operation at the RTO level.
Thus, in all the above transactions, the applicant will not be required to come to the RTO level for obtaining a novice license and endorsement for carrying hazardous goods, as stated by the Office of the Commissioner of Vehicle Transactions.
