There are two hills, Chandragiri (Chikkabetta) and Vindyagiri. The main attraction of Shravanabelagola is a 57 feet huge statue of the Bhagavan Bahubali or Gomateshwara placed on the Vindyagiri hill. The river Kaveri tumbles grandly downward the Shivanasamudra Falls, also called the Shivasamudra Falls. It is called 'Dodda Alada Mara' in Kannada meaning Big Banyan Tree. The tree with its vertical root system is considered the biggest tree in Karnataka. The main trunk has given life to several roots and branches with lots of leaves. Branches jutting on all sides have slanted towards the ground.
 
Muthyala Maduvu (Pearl Valley): Muthyala Maduvu is located at a distance of 45 km from Bangalore. For those wishing to relax for a day, Muthyala Maduvu would be the ideal choice. Situated amidst hills, nestled in a valley, this secluded place makes a fascinating picnic spot.

The attraction of this place is the water falls, formed by streams trickle of water gushing from a height of 90 meters.
